Ski and Skate

The John Nike Leisuresport Complex is adjacent to the hotel and has three ski slopes (novice, intermediate and main) all uses the revolutionary new Perma-snow surface technology that is quicker than bristle-type matting. It provides skiers and boarders alike with the quality and feel of powder snow. The centre also boasts an Olympic size ice rink and Snow tubing / Tobogganing sessions.
For guests wanting to learn the basics of skiing or those wishing to refresh their skills ahead of a trip to the Alps, the skiing, snowboarding and winter sports at John Nike Leisuresports complex are some of the best facilities in the UK.
Open Practice
Recreational use of the slopes, without tuition, available to experienced skiers and boarders. That is: Skiers level 4 or higher - must be able to complete linked snowplough turns and use the lift competently or Boarders level C or higher - must be able to perform Falling Leaf and Garlands and use the lift competently
Sessions are 1.5 hours, in which time you can brush up on techniques, get ready for your next level, get ready for your holiday or simply maintain your skills and fitness all year round
Ski and Snowboard Lessons Ski and Snowboard lessons are divided into different levels of ability. All members of the group will be of the same ability. To take part in a lesson you will need to match your current skill level for the lesson. Lessons are for adults (16+ years), juniors (8-15 years), John Nike Leisure Complex (JNL) also has separate lessons for tots (4-7 years). There is a minimum age limit of 10 years for snowboarding lessons and 4 years for skiing. JNL provide both group lessons and private lessons tailored to your individual needs.
Sno-tubing
Sno-tubes are fast inflatables that you ride down the ski slope on, but best of all - no skill is required! An experienced member of staff who will get you spinning and joining the tubes together in different combinations runs all sessions.
Sno-tubes are available at select times and pre booking is required. All sessions are fully supervised and we can take bookings up to 24 people at a time.
Ice Karting and Team Building
Ice karting is fast and furious, the event offers exciting endurance racing. This is a perfect activity for a large group of friends or a corporate day out. You will have exclusive use of the Ice rink and a DJ will provide commentary. Team building activies can be booked in conjunction with the hotel please enquire.
Ice Skating
John Nike Leisuresport Complex in Bracknell boasts an Olympic size Ice rink. The rink provides general skating as well as group and private lessons for all ages and abilities. Children's birthday parties are also available on the ice.
